Location: Biruni University Faculty of Dentistry, Istanbul - February 5-6, 2026
The course learning objectives are: evaluation of the general and differential diagnostic features of oral mucosal diseases; presentation of non-invasive auxiliary methods recommended for diagnosis, particularly for oral mucosal lesions carrying a risk of malignancy (vital staining technique and brush biopsy); explanation of invasive biopsy methods and clinical application tips; teaching basic information about ultrasound, general terminology, technical and application details, purposes of use in line with current international guideline recommendations, sonographic features of the head and neck region, ultrasonographic criteria specific to malignancies and lymph node metastases, ultrasound-guided invasive procedures, and intraoperative applications in a theoretical and practical manner.
